From 2012-2015 he held an ARC Future Fellowship on Tribocharging and Triboelectric Separation, with strong relevance to water-free particle processing. He was sole Chief Investigator on an Australian Research Council Discovery project, "Mass transport mechanisms in aqueous foam". More specific areas of research interest include triboelectrification, foams and flotation, and liquid marbles and other liquid-particle aggregates.įrom 2006-2010 Peter led the Triboelectric Separation project within the Australian Minerals Science Research Institute (AMSRI), funded by the Australian Research Council and AMIRA International. His broad fields of fundamental expertise include electrostatics and the interaction of liquids and interfaces with solids and particles. Peter's research interests deal with the fundamental and applied physics of a number of processes with particular relevance to the minerals, pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as to a variety of environmental applications. He has since become a member of the PRC for Advanced Particle Processing and the Newcastle Institute for Energy and Resources. After spending several years as full-time carer for his two children, he joined the Centre for Multiphase Processes at the University of Newcastle in mid-2004. My dad and I had almost completed the entire project, but we had one last thing to address, which required about one foot of 1 inch flexible conduit, which is sold in 100' rolls at almost every wholesale electric and home improvement store. We recently purchased a home in Marin, and had to upgrade the main electrical service to the house from 50 Amps to a more reasonable amount. E J Weber apparently performs random acts of kindness.
